UTP is an exceptional precision engineering company, specialising in full Production, Pre-Production and Prototype precision engineering projects. We are approved to AS9100 Rev D TS157 Quality Standard and have a reputation for manufacturing to closer tolerances on complex components than most other precision engineering companies.
Exotic Materials
We are able to machine all ‘exotics’, including Titanium Beta C, 718 Inconel, 13-8, 15-5, 17-4 ph in H900 condition, as well as Monel K500 in 120-ksi condition, to extremely close tolerances.
We have machined more than 200 different materials, and are confident that we can handle any customer requirements.
High Precision Manufacturing
UTP have the capability to handle most precision engineering tasks including:
CNC Turning; CNC Milling; CNC Grinding; Match Grinding; AutoHoning; Sleeve & Surface Lapping; Milling; Turning; Drilling; Sawing; Finishing.
For normal CNC Turning & Milling we can work to tolerances of 0,01mm, and for Grinding and Lapping, we work to 0,001mm, in our environmentally controlled, 30,000 square feet bespoke facility. We have all the pre-requisite quality measuring equipment, including CNC CMM to ensure that we always meet the exacting requirements of our customers.
Capabilities
Our manufacturing scope includes: Prismatic Machining, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and CNC Grinding including close tolerance match grinding. We undertake complete project management, incorporating both piece part manufacture and complete assemblies.
