Requirements
- Experience in operating, setting and running of Mazatrol CNC Lathes of 2 Axis and also using driven tool Lathes in an AS9100 Rev D environment.
- Good knowledge in tool setting and tooling requirements.
- Ability to adjust machine offset coordinates to repeat correct manufacturing requirements.
- Used to working with High Tensile and Ultra High Tensile materials.
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Route Cards.
Proven ability to understand the use of handheld measuring equipment such as:
- Micrometres, Thread Micrometers, Groove Micrometers (Metric & Imperial)
- Bore clocks
- Air gauges
- Height gauges
- Plug gauges and screw plug gauges
- Comparators
- MPJ
- Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedures.
- Carry out 1st off inspection from route cards and fill out paperwork correctly.
- Must be vigilant and diligent with a good attention to detail and able to maintain high standards of work through high volume batches.
- Used to working to tight tolerances on all types of materials.
- Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in their working area.
- To be able to complete accurately and in a timely fashion all relevant paperwork.

- Ability to use hand held tools such as Scrapers, files and Air tools
- Used to working with High Tensile and Ultra High Tensile materials.
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Route Cards.
- Proven ability to understand use hand held measuring equipment such as:
- Micrometers, Thread Micrometers, Groove Micrometers (Metric & Imperial)
- Bore clocks
- Height gauges
- Plug gauges and screw plug gauges
- Fitting using air guns and insert tools, fitting will include Helicoil inserts, Lee jets and pins.
- Be able to use to a safe standard Hydraulic press and bench press.
- Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedures.
- Must be vigilant and diligent with a good attention to detail and able to maintain high standards of work through high volume batches.
- Used to working to tight tolerances on all types of materials.
- Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in their working area.
- To be able to complete accurately and in a timely fashion all relevant paperwork.
